Call from Police – Asking for document/evidence/information related to an investigation:

Voice/Email Team: 

1. Request police to send the notice under section 91 of Cr.PC (not FIR copy) to [email protected]
2. If police agree – Dispose the call 
3. If police disagree – Transfer to SRT – Disposition: Other > Call Transfer > Supervisor

Case 1: Information is available with the SRT team

1. Request Caller to share Police Station Name & Telephone Number
2. Verify (Using Google/List)- Post Validation – Outcall to Share the information
3. If Validation fails – Educate to collect the information from respective Police Station (As per Ola policy) or Request police to send the notice under section 91 of Cr.PC (not FIR copy) to [email protected]

Case 2: Information is unavailable with the SRT team

1. Buy Time – Coordinate with respective team to gather information
2. Request Caller to share Police Station Name & Telephone Number
3. Verify (Using Google/List)- Post Validation – Outcall to Share the information
4. If Validation fails – Educate to collect the information from respective Police Station (As per Ola policy) or Request police to send the notice under section 91 of Cr.PC (not FIR copy) to [email protected]
