Referral Related: Referral Blocked due to Policy Violation

Referral not working - Referral is banned and customer profile says <“Not eligible for referral”>

Voice and Email Team:

  1. Apologize
  2. Inform that our system has banned referral as it has not met certain policies of our Referral Program.

Reasons (To be shared only if the customer insists):

  1. Creating multiple accounts on the same phone.
  2. Signing up on a device which has been tampered or altered in any manner.
  3. Not signing up on the latest Ola app.

If customer insists on knowing what the reason is or asks for unblocking:-

  1. Apologize 
  2. Inform Ola Account is active and he can continue to use it for booking rides

If customer threatens to escalate this or post on social media

  1. Apologize 
  2. Inform the customer that unfortunately we would not be able to share any further information.
